Social media isn’t a verb.
Thanks to @Chris Brogan for pointing me to this one. This is indeed a well written post about a few practical Twitter applications. The quote above is beautiful. As is the follow to it, “We weren’t social media-ing. We were using social media tools to accomplish something.” Viewing Twitter as a tool is certainly one of the keys to understanding it’s value.
