Pleasantly Surprised By American Idol on iTunes
Very impressed with what American Idol is doing via iTunes this year. This week, each of the “performances” were offered in live video version and a studio recording version. The studio recordings are an accurate picture of what these people are going to sound like when they actually do get in the studio for an album. Here’s a sample of David Cook’s version of Elanor Rigby… which was surprisingly good. Now, if he could just figure out what to do with his hair. :)
